Our Name

Katalyst Point is a boutique industrial-focused M&A advisory business founded by Belinda Kǒkóèkà Bassey Ephraim.

Distinguished as mergers and acquisitions professionals, our name draws inspiration from the fundamental concept of catalysis invented by Elizabeth Fulhame in 1794, a brilliant Scottish chemist. Catalysis involves altering chemical reaction rates with a catalyst, symbolized by 'katal' (kat), the measurement that represents rapid activity. Catalysts are highly valued because they enable pathways, are not consumed by the reaction rate, and remain unchanged, rendering them reusable.

In Euclidean geometry, a 'point' signifies an exact location in the space-time continuum, capturing the precision, speed, and impact we bring to our agile advisory services.

This is Katalyst Point.
